The final days, before I left Facebook, I felt trapped.
Trapped by rules, limitations and prohibitions.

 

That made it clear to me that Facebook is not a particularly suitable place for art.

 

I also experienced sucessess there,
such as over 5 million views in one year,
and more than 800K interactions.
That was great.

 

But if you really want to develop free in your artistic expression –
you have to walk the plank.

 

Walking the plank“ is an old pirate term for sending someone to their death.

But my art did not die that day –
it was set free.

That was the reason why the day I left FB became the „Plank Challenge Day“.
