When a Vision Begins to Breathe
How to create a vision.
I rarely create a series in a single moment.
Most of them arrive quietly.
I spend time with them.
Observe them.
Sometimes for weeks.
Only when I begin to understand what they are trying to become…
I know the series has truly begun.
The Story Behind the Collection
Since founding KD LightCode Art in June 2025, thousands of artworks and many different series have emerged. Today my private archive contains more than 30,000 images.
Yet finding the series that truly expresses the essence of KD LightCode Art took time.
From the very beginning I wanted to remain faithful to the foundations of my work: feminine archetypes, modern mythology and the cinematic portrait language I had been developing over many months.
At the same time another idea continued to grow.
I wanted to explore light not merely as illumination, but as transformation.
The vision was clear:
A being of light that still carried recognisable traces of being human.
The first experiments produced beautiful images.
But they were not yet what I had seen within.
So I did what I often do.
I let the series rest.
Days.
Sometimes weeks.
From time to time I returned, not to judge the images, but simply to observe them.
Eventually something changes.
A quiet resonance begins to emerge.
The images start to reveal their own direction.
Only then do I understand what needs to change – not only in the selection,
but also in the intention behind the prompts.
Little by little the work moves closer to the vision that was present from the beginning.
That is how Living Light Codes came into being.
